For the past 14 years, co-owners Kelsey Klim and Kollin Chupa have been skillfully strategizing, managing, and executing integrated marketing plans in the Youngstown, Ohio area. Klim and Chupa spent the early days of their career working in various marketing and sales roles, with a strong live-event background (Covelli Centre, Packard Music Hall and JAC Live). The pair has worked with everyone from global companies and world-class entertainers to local corporate organizations.
After spending several years in the field, they discovered that marketing jargon and “big business” practices had taken the place of personal attention to detail and client service, ultimately leaving clients feeling unsatisfied; Thus, K Squared was born at the end of 2017!
We are a small firm, with big results. We work seamlessly with our clients as a team to develop a marketing plan with a mix of suitable tactics to tell a brand’s story and bolster results. As our clients’ liaison to our network of the best professionals in media, design, and advertising, we assist in establishing concrete goals and act as the client’s broker/advocate: developing a media plan, public relations plan, promotional plan, etc. to meet annual or project-based goals.
We value quality vs. quantity. We are NOT a full-service agency. We do not believe in sourcing everything in-house; rather, we believe collaboration breeds creativity. Our established relationships with the industry’s best and brightest professionals in graphic, web, digital, video, etc. give our clients the freedom to choose what will benefit them the most, both strategically AND financially.
OUR PRICING PHILOSOPHY
In an effort to remain transparent in our business practices, we work on project or annual-based retainers rather than media commission or creative service inflation.
Simply stated, you pay K Squared a flat project or annual-based fee so that your marketing dollars go directly toward executing your tactics.
We define a retainer campaign as a project that lasts 6 months or longer. We arrive at the retainer fee by taking into consideration both the marketing tactics that need to be implemented as well as the amount of supplemental support from the client (meaning if they have a marketing team in-house or if we are acting as the sole marketing team)
We define project-based ventures as campaigns that are several weeks or several months long. For projects, we work off of a flat fee with respect to the client’s media budget.
